- WIZLY'S PRIVACY POLICY
- This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of Wizly Technologies Corp (“Wizly,” “we”, “us”, or “our”), and how we handle personal information that we collect through and in connection with our website at https://askwizly.ai/, our applications, and any other website or service that we own or control and that links to this Privacy Policy.
- Wizly offers an AI-powered consulting platform built for consultants, advisors, thought leaders, and other professionals (collectively, “Experts”) to meet and offer professional and/or consulting services (“Client Offerings”) as an individual independent consultant or consulting firm to individuals or organizations who are in the market for such services (“Clients”). Collectively with our websites, we refer to this as the “Service” or “Services” in this Policy. This Policy applies to our website visitors, users of our applications, business contacts, and other individuals who interact with us.
- Personal Information We Collect
- How we use that information;
- How we protect that information; and
- How you can update that information or limit or control how it is used.
- Payment information needed to complete your transactions with us, including name, payment card information, and billing information. This information is processed by our payment service providers, including Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates, which may handle your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not have access to your full payment card information.
- Communications that we exchange with you, including when you contact us with questions, feedback, or otherwise.
- Demographic information, such as information that you voluntarily provide or include in your profile.
- Visual and audio information, such as photos, audio recordings, videos, or user-generated content that you upload or otherwise provide through the Services, including those you elect to be used to customize your Client Offerings.
- Marketing information such as your preferences for receiving our marketing communications and details about your engagement with them.
- Other information not specifically listed here, which we will use as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.
- Where you provide us with the personal information of third parties, such as your Clients, prospective Clients, or other contacts, it is your responsibility to inform them about the processing of their personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and to confirm that they have given their permission.
- Automatic data collection. We and our service providers may automatically log and combine information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interactions over time with the Services, online resources, and our communications, such as:
- Device data, including your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, device type (e.g., phone, tablet), IP address, unique identifiers, language settings, and general location information such as city, state, or geographic area.
- Usage data, including pages, screens and/or features you viewed, accessed and/or used, how long you spent on a page, screen and/or feature, the website you visited before browsing to the Services, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page, screen and/or feature, access times, duration of access, and whether you have opened or otherwise engaged with our communications, such as our marketing emails, or clicked links or files within them.
- We use the following tools for automatic data collection:
- Cookies, which are text files that websites store on a visitor‘s device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser for the purpose of helping you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, enabling functionality, and helping us understand user activity and patterns.
- Local storage technologies, like HTML5, that provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store larger amounts of data, including on your device outside of your browser in connection with specific applications.
- Web beacons, also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs, which are used to demonstrate that a webpage or email was accessed or opened, or that certain content was viewed or clicked.
- Information we obtain from other sources:
- Third-party login information. When you link, connect, or log in to our Services with a third-party service, you may direct the service to send us information controlled by that service or as authorized by you via your privacy settings on that service. For example, if you link our Services to Google Drive to transfer your content to our Service to help power your Client Offerings, you control how that information is sent to us via Google’s settings.
- Social media. We may maintain pages on social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and other third-party platforms. When you visit or interact with our pages on those platforms, you or the platforms may provide us with information through the platform, and we will treat such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Other Wizly Users. We may receive your personal information, such as business contact information from current users. For example, an Expert may provide upload information regarding Clients, which may contain personal information.
- Other sources. We may obtain personal information from other third parties, such as marketing partners, publicly-available sources, and data providers.
- How We Use Personal Information
- We use personal information for the following purposes or as otherwise described at the time of collection:
- To provide our Services. This includes:
- Administering, hosting, and operating our Services, including your Client Offerings;
- Communicating with you and responding to any inquiries you may have; and
- Analyzing your use of our Services to allow us to evaluate and improve the Services.
- For marketing and advertising. We and our advertising partners may collect and use your personal information for marketing and advertising purposes, including:
- Email. We or our advertising partners may from time-to-time send you direct marketing emails as permitted by law, including, but not limited to, notifying you of special promotions, offers and events via email. You may opt out of our marketing emails as described in the “Opt out of marketing communications” section below.
- Text message. We may send you text messages to invite you to the Service or notify you about special offers or opportunities. If you would like more information about our do-not-call policy, or how to opt out, please review the “Opt out of marketing communications” section below. You may be liable for standard SMS and per-minute charges by your mobile carrier.
- Interest-based advertising. We engage our advertising partners, including third party advertising companies and social media companies, to display ads around the web. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your interaction over time across our Services, our communications, and other online services, and use that information to serve online ads that they think will interest you. We may also share information about our users with these companies to facilitate interest-based advertising to those or similar users on other online platforms. You can learn more about your choices for limiting interest-based advertising in the “Online tracking opt-out” section below.
- For compliance and protection. We may use personal information to comply with legal obligations, including to enforce any applicable terms and conditions, defend against legal claims or disputes, protect the security and integrity of our Services, and identify and investigate fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity.
- How We Disclose Personal Information
- We may disclose personal information to the following individuals or entities and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection:
- Other Wizly users and your Clients. In accordance with the settings you select for your Client Offerings and other Services you use, we make your information available to other Wizly users, to your Clients, and to your prospective Clients who are not yet Wizly users. For example, if you are an Expert and choose to send a link to a current or prospective Client that allows them to access your Client Offering, we will make your information available in accordance with your settings. You control the information you upload to the Service and make available in the Client Offerings, please exercise care in the information you choose to share. If you are a Client working with an Expert, you may share information like name, email, transaction-related information with the Expert.
- Service providers. Companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Services or our business (such as hosting, information technology, customer support, email delivery, and analytics services).
- Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers, and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
- Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above.
- Business transferees. Acquirers and other relevant participants in business transactions (or negotiations for such transactions) involving a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, sale or other disposition of all or any portion of the business or assets of, or equity interests in, our business (including, in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
- Your Privacy Rights and Choices
- Opt out of marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing-related communications – both emails and texts – by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions in the communications you receive from us or by contacting us as provided in the “How to Contact Us” section below. You may continue to receive Services-related and other non-marketing communications.
- Personal information requests. We offer you choices that affect how we handle your personal information. Depending on your location and the nature of your interactions with our Services, you may request the following in relation to personal information:
- Information about how we have collected and used personal information. We have made this information available to you without having to request it by including it in this Privacy Policy.
- Access to a copy of the personal information that we have collected about you. Where applicable, we will provide the information in a portable, machine-readable, readily usable format.
- Correction of personal information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Deletion of personal information that we no longer need to provide the Services or for other lawful purposes.
- Opt out of the selling or your personal information or sharing of your personal information or use of your information for interest-based advertising. By default, we do not sell your personal information nor we share your personal information for interest-based advertising.
- Opt out of “profiling” in connection with decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not engage in profiling in connection with decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
- Consent to Transfer of Personal Data. By interacting with our Platforms and/or using our Services, you agree to the transfer, storage or processing of Personal Data described above. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your Personal Data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy.
- Duration of Retention. We may retain your Personal Data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws. We will cease to retain your Personal Data or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the Personal Data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
- YOUR RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Request for Access. In accordance with the applicable laws, you have the right to request for access to, request for a copy of, request to update or correct, your Personal Data held by us. Please note that a reasonable fee may be charged for an access request and if so, we will inform you of the fee before processing your request. You may contact our Data Protection Officer. Any access request may be subject to a fee of S$10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you. However, access to your personal information may be denied on certain grounds, for example: it is unlawful; it may have an unreasonable impact upon the privacy of other individuals; or your request is frivolous or vexatious. If we deny you access, we will provide our reason for doing so at the time of your request.
- Withdrawal of Consent. You have the right, by notice in writing to our Data Protection Officer to inform us of your withdrawal (in full or in part) of your consent previously given to use your Personal Data, subject to any applicable legal restrictions, contractual conditions and a reasonable duration of time for the withdrawal of consent to be effected. However, depending on the extent of your withdrawal of consent for us to process your Personal Data, you may not be able to access our Services and/or use our Platforms.
- Amendments to your Personal Data. You may review, update, correct or delete your Personal Data by editing your profile. If you would like your account to be deactivated, please contact us and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any obligation or legitimate reason to retain the information contained in your account. When making amendments to your Personal Data, we will verify your identity before proceeding to act on your request.
- Scope of our Policy. Our Platforms may, from time to time, contain links to and from the platforms of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these platforms, please note that these platforms have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any Personal Data to these platforms. Please be reminded that we do not control the privacy practices of these third-party services and we encourage you to read the privacy policies of all third-party organisations.
- DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
- Information You Share. Our Platforms allow visitors to share information with others, such as comments on content posted and information shared via social media. When you share information, including in the content of your questions, answers, and other communications on our Platforms (including testimonials and community forum posts you submit), in user profiles describing your experiences and qualifications, and in signatures attached to postings on our Platforms, it may as a result become accessible to others, through such mechanisms as search engines. We cannot be responsible for how others with whom you may share information may use that information and you shall not hold as responsible in respect of the same.
- Information We Share. We may share your Personal Data with companies, organisations and individuals outside of Wizly, including but not limited to:
- Service Providers. We may share Personal Data with service providers (including but not limited to payment processors, fraud detection vendors, service-related technology providers, and survey administrators) that provide services to you and us, including to help us maintain our databases and websites, administer emails, display content, and analyse website usage activity.
- Our Partners. We may share your Personal Data and payment information with other our business partners to perform a Service and/or to execute a contract. If you do not want your Personal Data shared with these companies, you may contact us and our Data Protection Officer.
- Advertising Partners. We may share Personal Data that you provide and payment information with advertising partners that use various technologies to send or serve relevant advertisements to you as you browse the internet.
- Within Our Organisation. We may share any of your Personal Data with parents, subsidiaries, joint venture partners, and other entities under common control subject to this Policy.
- Social Networks. You may interact with certain features of our Services that cause certain categories of Personal Data to be published to your social networks.
- Business Transfers. In the event of a fundraising exercise, merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganisation, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets (whether by private sale, through operation of law, as part of a divestiture plan, or otherwise) or such other similar transactions, your Personal Data and any other information that we have collected, may be disclosed to the persons and/or entities assuming control of the relevant business unit or as otherwise necessary to complete the transaction as permitted by law or contract.
- Legal and Similar Disclosures. We may disclose Personal Data about you with law enforcement, the courts, our advisors, attorneys, and others who participate in the legal process, if necessary to do so by law or based on our good faith belief that it is necessary to enforce or apply our contracts, conform or comply with the law or is necessary to protect us, the users of the websites, or others.
- Additional Disclosures. In addition to the sharing described in this Policy, we may share information about you with third parties for legitimate purposes in connection with the running of our business.
- PROTECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
- Data Security. We work hard to protect the information provided by, or collected about, the users of our Platforms, from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
- Data Breach. In the event of a data breach, Wizly will, as soon as reasonably practical, notify all affected parties of such breach.
- Internet Transmission of Information. Please note that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Platforms and any transmission is made at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access to your Personal Data.
- HANDLING COMPLAINTS FROM OUR USERS AND REGULATORY AUTHORITIES
- We regularly review our compliance with this Policy and with any and all industry-recommended best practices, as well as applicable laws and regulations. When we receive a formal written complaint, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up. This is without prejudice to your right to launch a claim with your local data protection supervisory authority. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve with the users of our Service directly. 33.

- Implementation of Cookies. We may from time to time implement "Cookies" or other features to allow us or third parties to collect or share information that will help us improve our Platforms and the Services we offer or help us offer new services and features.
- What are Cookies. Cookies are small files which are placed on your computer when a website is accessed by you. Cookies help the website user to navigate efficiently between pages and the website operator to track usage of the site. We may link Cookie information to Personal Data.
- Use for Cookies. Cookies allow us to recognise your computer or device and tell us how and when the Services or Platforms are used or visited, by how many people and to track activity within our Platforms. Cookies are also used to deliver content specific to your interest and to monitor usage of the Platforms and Services.
- User Options. By using our Platforms, you agree to the use of Cookies and other technologies as set out in this Policy. If you do not agree to such use please either refrain from using the Platforms, or refuse the use of Cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, you may not be able to access the full functionality of our Platforms or Services if you choose to do so.

Our goal is to be clear about what information we collect, so that you can make meaningful choices about how that information is used.
